The conference call was about 45 minutes in length, and allowed the writers invited to ask questions with the producer of the title, Rob Nelson. 2K sent over word to Loot Ninja that they're working on some patches for MLB 2K8 for a few issues. Mainly, the framerate issues are being fixed on the Xbox 360. But that's not the only console with stuttering issues. The PS3 version is about the same in terms of the slowdown in the field.
2K Sports is addressing some of the nagging issues with MLB 2K8 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but the PS2 and Wii versions aren't as lucky, according to a report on DailyGame.net.
There are patches coming soon to address the framerate and other issues with the 360 and PS3 versions of MLB 2K8.
The Cool Base alternate jerseys and three minor league stadiums (that apparently couldn't fit on the disc) that 2K had promised would come at release are now available in the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Hadlock Field, and Legends Field are included. As previously stated these are free to download.
