Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom

New kingdoms come under fire

[360] Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom announced for 360

Microsoft announced today that they will publish the next installment of Kingdom Under Fire. Subtitled Circle of Doom, this new chapter swerves from the traditional action-strategy formula of earlier Kingdom Under Fire games into action-RPG territory. The press release (which unfortunately arrived with no accompanying art) flaunted the power of the 360 by proclaiming such features as randomly generated dungeons and landscapes and thousands of on-screen enemies.

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is not strictly a sequel to the previous games and the press release suggested that characters from earlier games will make an appearance. While cooperative play with up to four other people over Xbox Live was hinted at, no specifics were given as to the online component of this indirect successor.
