Infinite Undiscovery

New Infinite Undiscovery screens

Is that a Red Mage or is her fashion sense impaired?

Square Enix has released some new screens from 360 title Infinite Undiscovery, a game that we bet was named by a couple of Japanese guys picking random English words out of a dictionary.

The game is being developed by Tri-Ace, which made the Star Ocean series and Valkyrie Profile.

Infinite Undiscovery is said to contain ten years' worth of ideas from programmer Yoshiharu Gotanda that could only be achieved with current-generation technology.

The screenshots show kids dressed up in medieval armour, a woman who appears to be obsessed with the colour red, and fights jam packed with statistics and targeting circles. All seems fairly familiar to us.

Infinite Undiscovery is out in September.
