Ghostbusters The Video Game

Ghostbusters possibly coming to Xbox 360

Finally a chance to go toe to toe with the Marshmallow Man

Over the weekend, a few movie clips have been uploaded to YouTube by a small developer called Zootfly. These movies hint at a new Ghostbusters videogame currently in development for the Xbox 360.

These clips include a glimpse of Ecto 2, the Ghostbusters' preferred method of transportation in an array of different colors; watch Ecto 2 in some drifting action; paint the town red with a proton gun; even see a CGI Peter Venkman saying that saving the world is all in a day’s work.

Watching the videos, you can definitely see the game is still in prototype stage, but the potential is there. Time to start singing, "I ain't afraid of no ghost!"

Sadly Zootfly is currently entangled in a few licensing issues and until they are worked out, we'll have to wait before we can wield a proton gun. To keep the momentum going they are currently working on TimeO, a title that uses the same engine and carries a similar premise.
