The Xbox Community Network recently caught up with Dan Greenawalt, Lead Game Designer on Forza Motorsport 2 at Turn 10 Studios to ask him some questions on the upcoming Xbox 360 game...
The debut of Forza Motorsport 2 was unable to trigger a sales spike for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 in Japan.
Marcel Vega from Brazilian site Xbox Today attended the Forza 2 pre-launch party and has the pics to prove it! He writes:
Noticed something funny today at the Forza 2 launch. Perched atop the 360 that was running the game on the three-screen setup was this mysterious black box. Which turned out to be a thermometer. An official, Xbox-branded thermometer.
This is the final build of Forza 2 running upscaled at 1080p, in a custom racing harness. Forza 2 on one screen, it's good. On three, it's great.
North American gamers can finally pick up their copy of the next-generation racing sim for Xbox 360.
Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has given Forza 2 the rare platinum rating. This is huge because it's a western made game reviewed by the Japanese, a market that Microsoft has had so much trouble penetrating.
As gamers in the UK are left counting the days to the 8th of June when Microsoft's epic racer Forza 2 is released over here, it seems Turn 10's driving sim is mysteriously already available in certain countries.

Microsoft Game Studios today announced that "Forza Motorsport® 2" has gone gold. In addition, a brand-new playable demo of the game's campaign mode is now available on Xbox LIVE®.
You know you've got it bad when you dream about a game. Thankfully Jonathan M. Gitin from ars technica, subconscious was wrong, and the Forza Motorsport II demo did indeed appear on Xbox Live this morning for download. Since Jonathan woke up about as early as a 10-year-old on Christmas Day and there was no way he was going back to bed, he got a little face time with his most eagerly anticipated game of the last few years.
