We've had a lot of perfect tens in recent memory, GTA: IV, Bayonetta and now Darksiders is also carrying the title of a perfect game. The publication in question is the US magazine Play, and that's the same Play that gave Beast Rider a very high score. It's not known if it's the same reviewer though."

In the interview, Madureira also expressed plans for future Darksiders games to incorporate four-player co-op using the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and shutting down any rumors going around of the upcoming title having any multiplayer options."

The Eminence Symphony Orchestra is putting on "A Night in Fantasia 2009," featuring music from AFRIKA, Darksiders: Wrath of War, Dragon Age: Origins, Prince of Persia, and the amazing Shadow of the Colossus along with some anime pieces from Astro Boy, Studio Ghibli, and Deathnote to name a few. It should be a great show.

In its second quarter fiscal 2009 financial report, publisher THQ today confirmed that it is in the process of shutting down five of its internal studios as part of a "significant business realignment." Approximately 250 people, or 17 percent of the company's product development personnel will be laid off as a result.

THQ also announced that both Red Faction: Guerrilla and Darksiders: Wrath of War have been pushed to the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010.

THQ has today unveiled the key titles that will form the publisher's fiscal 2009 video game line-up. Scheduled for release in the 12-month period ending March 31, 2009 are a range of new editions to existing franchises, new original games and social and party titles.

Gamers can look forward to new editions of multi-million unit franchises, including Saints Row 2, Red Faction: Geurrilla and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. All new video game titles on the way include Darksiders: Wrath of War, Deadly Creatures and de Blob. Additionally THQ plans to release new social and party games for the Wii, including Battle of the Bands and Big Beach Sports.
