The guys over at OzBoxLive are organizing a Game Night in Melbourne, Australia which they are calling "Xperience Xbox" at The State Library of Victoria on July 17th.

They have a fantastic night planned for all Xbox 360 fans and Casual Gamers alike, to play some of the best games on the Xbox 360 console. Some of the games include… Guitar Hero World Tour, Halo 3, Street Fighter IV, Virtua Tennis 2009, Pro Evolution Soccer, Sacred 2, Harry Potter and a lot more.

There will also be a raffle where the main prize is an Xbox 360 Pro and a bunch of games with all money raised going to the Royal Children's Hospital.

Videogamer writes: "Major Nelson reports that beginning tomorrow, Bomberman Live will be reduced in price on Xbox LIVE Arcade as part of the Holiday Deal of the Week promotion.

For one week only the highly entertaining XBLA title will be reduced from 800 MS Points to 600 MS Points. This deal will be available in all Xbox LIVE territories except India, which will be offered a reduced price Uno instead."

If you are eagerly awaiting the chance to download the free Xbox LIVE Arcade Avatar updates launching soon, there are a few things you should be aware of to ensure you can download them successfully. This information only pertains to Hardwood Hearts, Hardwood Spades, and Bomberman; UNO and Kingdom for Keflings will also support avatars now, but don't have a special upgrade process.

If you have never downloaded one of these titles, simply find them in Marketplace, and the version you download will come preloaded with Avatar support. Otherwise, if you are already an owner of one of these titles, follow these easy steps to get Avatars working in your game.

GameSpot's first tournament of the year will be...explosive. Registration begins at 4 p.m. Pacific today for GameSpot's Bomberman Live Bombs Away tournament. The Bombs Away tourney is open to GameSpot Total Access users, where six players will enter the battlefield, but only one will depart without a singe in Bomberman Live's battle mode. Matches begin January 28 at 11 a.m. Pacific, and the finals will be broadcast live on Tournament TV on February 1 at 4 p.m. Pacific.

Hudson Entertainment sends word that they are releasing Bomb-Up Pack 3 for Bomberman LIVE for the Xbox LIVE Arcade on December 26th. The add-on will have ten new characters, two additional levels, two new leaderboards and a new game mode called Friendly Fire.

Todo Juegos (translated) is reporting that Microsoft is planning a new promotion for Europe. Said promotion should run between November 1st, 2007 until January 31st, 2008. The gist of it is pretty simple. Just get a friend to purchase a new 360 at some point during the promotion, attach a copy of the receipt to a special coupon (PDF link), mail it in, and both you and your friend will receive ten free Xbox Live Arcade games. Hudson Drops Another Bomb (Pack) (News)

Bomberman Live players will get an extra boost later this month when Hudson Entertainment offers up the second add-on pack for the explosive multiplayer game.

Bomb-Up Pack 2 features ten new Bomberman costumes, including "Bomberella" the cavewoman, "El Bombito" the matador and the robot mascot from the Destructoid gaming blog.

The pack also comes with two new levels - "Medieval Times" and "Full Tilt" - and a new online mode called "Bomb Shelters" in which players hide from explosions in a small, fireproof building.

Two Additional Levels - New arenas include "High Stakes," a Las Vegas-style casino level that allows players to select any gimmick they want, and "Zeppelin," a level set aboard a dirigible which features tornado environmental hazards that incapacitate players.

One New Game Mode - "Frag" mode will allow players to pre-set the number of enemies they must bomb in order to win the game.
