Bionic Commando Rearmed 'closing in'

Creative director Simon Viklund says it's almost finished

Simon Viklund, creative director at Bionic Commando Rearmed development studio Grin, has hinted that we should see the time relatively soon.

"The final date for completing Bionic Commando Rearmed is closing in," he posts on the company's official blog.

"We're stabilizing the game and polishing all the details now, and soon this product of almost a year of late nights and hard work will ship to a digital distribution channel near you!"

Viklund adds: "Within weeks we will see with sad eyes how it leaves to enter the approval process" and that the team is currently "dreaming about what retro project [they] could do next if the opportunity should arise."

Based on the Bionic Commando Rearmed trailer, we'd be happy even if they announced a remake of Superman 64. Hopefully we won't find our faith is misplaced in a month or so.
