wow. i look forward to this every year and it never disappoints! Thanks to all the writers at GR for making it my favorite gaming site! (PS, on Dancing Craze, the misdirection from the penis under the elbow was a very bold way to end the article. very bold indeed)

Woodcutter Simulator 2011 is a real thing. Its a thing. That's what I find hard to believe. They make games out of THIS? Pack it up ladies and gentlemen, the video game crash has already happened and we didn't even know about it.

Love the bunny picture XD Worst box art of 20--, you never fail to bring a smile to my face!

Absolutely one of the best features every year, glad you had another slowly zoom in feature at the end

This might be one of the best things I've ever read on this site, especially page 3. Now I know why Phil Taylor is a 15-times world champion...
  • BladedFalcon - December 24, 2011 7:36 a.m.

    Y'know... looking at both of them... I have to wonder if the handjob couple of Dancing Craze Aren't the same couple that appear as kids in Carnival Island... I mean... the guy on both have pretty much the same body motion, and the girl's fist in carnival island is pretty... suggestive. Can't believe my mind went there >>;

Whoa, wait... wha!?! Phil "The Power" Taylor (Yes, "The Power" is really his nickname) has his own rubbish darts game? I was going to ask why but after reading the entry I was laughing so much that I didn't care anymore! Oh before I forget, Merry Christmas to everyone at GamesRadar. :D

I know it's such a revered game, and thus no one wants to criticize any aspect of it, and I agree, it's an absolutely balls-out, boner-up, unbelievably great game, but am I the only one who didn't like Arkham City's cover that much? I mean, that positioning and all that white and the position of the logo etc? I just didn't like it that much, and for a game of such pedigree as Arkham City, I thought it could've been worth mentioning.
  • BladedFalcon - December 24, 2011 7:27 a.m.

A cover you didn't think it was that great doesn't automatically make it one of the worst covers of the year. AC's is mediocre at worst, not terrible. Thus has no place in this article.
  • TheJerseyDevil - December 24, 2011 8:48 a.m.

Well, he didn't really say he thought it should be in the article, he was just expressing his opinion. An opinion which I agree with.
  • BladedFalcon - December 24, 2011 8:58 a.m.

And I didn't disagree with the opinion, nor did I state that it was wrong. Yet, he said "I thought it could've been worth mentioning." Which clearly indicates the thought it should have been mentioned in the article. And THAT is what I disagree with.

Wow, some real stinkers there! Has anyone else noticed on #34 that beyond Phil Taylor's manly awesomeness, the dart board is all squashed and oval shaped? That's surely not WDF-regulation equipment... A little bit harsh on Battlefield I think even though it is blatantly the same as BFBC2. I actually thought Modern Warfare 3's art was really dull this year after MW2 and the Black Ops ones. Not necessarily a bad thing here but I didn't think the Portal 2 box art was particularly relevant to the main story. Given the brilliant characters of GLaDOS and Wheatley it seemed strange to give the starring role to a co-op character.

Wow 112 interceptions!! Jerry Rice shattered the previous record of 14 interceptions in a season. You need a gamer to review sports games/keep you from making a sport faux pas.
  • juicenpancakes - December 24, 2011 8:49 a.m.

Jerry Rice is the greatest RECEIVER of all-time. He could never have an interception. So correcting Mikel's really messed up statement with a just as bad correction isn't any better.

You're right, you're right. It's fixed now; thanks for pointing it out.

My bad, I didn't mean for it to be taken in a dickish tone, I was being sarcastic. My apologies. Merry xxxmas to all of the wondrous GR humans.
