Upgrade Your Ammo
Plasmids only make up half of your arsenal. It's a real shame that despite being able to use the Incinerate or Electro Bolt plasmids, most people will play through the demo using just a single type of ammunition.
Towards the end of the demo, in the Transit Hub (where the security system goes after you), there is a small lockbox filled with AP pistol rounds hiding under the small waterfall that Splicers jump down at you from - bet you didn't find that the first time through.
Slush around in the water enough and you'll find the ammo, but don't use it on the organic Splicers, or the armor piercing effects will be wasted. We recommend taking out that deadly flame-throwing turret behind the metal gate - which becomes a simple matter of pointing and pulling the trigger, it's amazing what applying the right tool for the job can accomplish in Rapture.
