What are your favorite GamesRadar features of all time?

Surely you’ve heard? This month marks the glorious five-year anniversary of GamesRadar.com, still officially the most official “official” website of the internet and, if we may be so bold, a pretty good place to read about games.

For the past few weeks, we’ve celebrated this milestone by bringing back some of our greatest hits – old videos, old features and old artwork that we’re just as proud of today as we were when they first posted (which was often before we had comments or a working video player).

Now it’s your turn. You’re as much a part of GamesRadar’s identity and success as we are, so tell us…
What are your favorite GamesRadar moments? What are the best things we’ve ever posted in your opinion?

Maybe a Top 7. Maybe a TalkRadar special. Maybe a uniquely, undeniably GamesRadar editorial, themed week, 1000-page countdown or Photoshop spectacular. Maybe a news story about Mario Sports Mix – we won’t judge.

Whatever your choices, be sure to share that love with us and with the rest of the community. Compose a few sentences, or few paragraphs, about your favorite GamesRadar features in the comments below and we’ll include the best quotes in an upcoming tribute. Be a part of history!

Yes, we’re shamelessly dynamite blast-fishing for compliments here, but it really would mean a lot to hear your thoughts. Seriously, thank you… for this, and for the last five years.

Love,
Everyone @ GamesRadar

i have to say chris's interview with shirley phelps-roper wins, but paul ryan's facts about the ice world is a fairly close second.
  • SolarPoweredShitMachine - March 26, 2011 2:03 a.m.

Brett's rant on Bill O'Reilly ("How'd it get there?") That or Facts About the Ice World.

  • Yaro - March 25, 2011 6:33 p.m.

There is SO many. I love the whole site and everything and everyone, YOU made me choose one. And I choose, "What if... Hitler smoked pot?" Loved Mikel's picture with the "DRUGS" shirt and the borked links in the end. The malfunctioning dog was super weird as well. Mikel is my favorite editor!
  • DeeEss - March 25, 2011 6:16 p.m.

I thought Matt Cundy's article about game deaths that actually made you sad from 2008 was pretty good. And sorry if I made you cry, gamesradar.
  • Lando81 - March 25, 2011 6:01 p.m.

    Evil Disney.
  • Joco84 - March 25, 2011 3:29 p.m.

Without doubt, one of the funniest articles was the "Proffesor Layton's a bit of a dick" one: http://www.gamesradar.com/f/lets-face-it-professor-layton-is-a-bit-of-a-dick/a-20101104175644830034 Classic Cundy Comedy!!

My favorite feature is the Busted Cheats section. On my birthday trip, we read it together, and we were laughing so damn hard we were crying nostop tears until we just sobbed in laughter. Even now, I read this at work sometimes, and the security guards just look at me like "WTF". I would hope there would be more.
  • CurryIsGood - March 24, 2011 1:38 p.m.

  • FaIconPaunch - March 24, 2011 3:59 a.m.

By far my favorite article written by Gamesradar has to be the Ultimate Character Battle. Just brilliance.
  • cracker33 - March 24, 2011 3:49 a.m.

By far, the best article ever is "The Etiquette of Gaming Like a Man" by Paul Ryan. http://www.gamesradar.com/f/the-etiquette-of-gaming-like-a-man/a-2008111311138232068. So classy.
  • icantbelieveitsnutbutter - March 24, 2011 2:10 a.m.

Top Seven Stupidest Puzzles. That top 7 is the article that carved GamesRadar a place in my heart. It made the several otherwise wasted years of my childhood worth it to appreciate that one article. I instantly thought, "this site understands me". I was right, the best, most interesting gaming site on the internets, is GamesRadar. Because to me, fish + cookie, does = lava lamp. (Article reference!)
