I'm not one for simulators, but running BioShock sounds like a blast.

I think they made a game like that with Waluigi. It was called "Mario Kart."
  • LBD_Nytetrayn - May 7, 2012 11:19 a.m.

Sorry, a game with Waluigi where you need to cheat to win, I mean.

Kotick... responsible for many of the best games released every year? I guess Activision should fire all those worthless developers....

"being in charge of a publisher that puts out many of the best games released every year" Don't take things out of context.

He actually quoted something else - copy/pasted an old version into the article for the first few minutes it was live, but it has been fixed.

...I wish this thing had an "edit" feature for comments. Wily tends to steal and reprogram most of the robots he uses. He's actually scratch-built a very small number of them.

Pokemon: Giovanni - Managing a failing criminal organization, while trying to balance your failing relationship with your son. It should have character choice and the decisions made effect the ending. Golden Sun: Blue Moon - You play as Alex and see all of outside plot dealings and from the first game to the last. You'll team up with Saturos, Menardi, Agatio, and Karst as you travel across Weyard to achieve your ultimate goal. Will have the same basic gameplay as the main series titles, but explore Alex's unique talents both before and after he gets thrashed on top of Mt. Aleph and something like that makes his powers different from all the other Adepts in the world. It'll have a greater focus on characteraztion, rather than overall plot like the previous titles. Also Lan Di from Shenmue should get his own game. As well as the Arishok from Dragon Age II. Oh how I'd love to play as the Arishok.

I would kill for a Star Wolf game, he's my favourite Star Fox Character is old Wolfy. Dr Robotnik is a good one to go for though I guess his game would be similar to the Doc Wily one).

would the bobby kotick game be a yearly release?
  • ultimatepunchrod - May 7, 2012 1:46 p.m.

"Diminishing returns" would be a feature.

But if a company moved to make a spin-off game (and not just a mini-game factory but a real game) with a villain, consumers and gaming journalists would scream about "no originality" and "shovel-ware."
  • tomthespesh - May 7, 2012 1:02 p.m.

True that happened with the Shadow the hedgehog game but then again that was god awful and needs to be stricken from the pages of history as one of humanity's low points :P

Not exactly if the game itself is great. Games like Bowser's inside story, being its own game, got great praise not just for bowser's epic performance in that but the game itself was well made and in a sense ”No originality”. That would stem only if its hugely similar to a game with just a character change.
  • shawksta - May 7, 2012 1:34 p.m.

I mean, ”in no sense no originallity”
  • closer2192 - May 7, 2012 4:42 p.m.

Fair point. I didn't think of Bowser's inside story because I haven't played it.
  • El Dango - May 7, 2012 12:09 p.m.

    Waluigi's Mansion?
  • NelosAngelos - May 7, 2012 1:05 p.m.

I would kill for a StarWolf game. Capturing bounties, assassinating political figures on other planets, black market seedy dealings. It would really breathe life into the StarFox universe that it desperately needs and another StarFox game we've been needing that isn't a remake. And what a perfect time for them to shine. Wolf was in smash bros. the new 3DS remake brought people both old and new to the series back up to needs to happen. And Nintendo shouldn't "Disney" it, make it gritty, make it feel good to be bad.

Those are by far the best idea's I ever heard. Especially Andrew Ryan's Rapture Sim XD LISTEN TO CHARLES NINTENDO, Mario's the jumping hero, Luigi's the personality filled Ghost Catcher, Wario's the money loving mugger and Waluigi is the mischevious cheater. Each one had games to accomodote their personalities but Waluigi. Techbically Waluigi's just a major Dick who cheats than a villain but still.
