    Where's episode 4 and 5's reviews?
  • GR HollanderCooper - November 25, 2012 10:29 p.m.

    Coming soon!

After playing Episode 3, I can say this is one of the best written games since Portal 2.
  • eboyfly - September 1, 2012 2:01 p.m.

I am still confused as to why people think Portal 2 is a well- written game....
  • BladedFalcon - November 26, 2012 1:42 p.m.

Because of the dialog and story? Kinda obvious...

Avoids cliches. Coherent narrative and goal. Dry humor. Provides backstory in an entertaining way with practically zero exposition. But obviously this is all crap, none of those things make something "well-written."

Third episode is brilliant. Several amazing moments and probably some of the best storytelling I've seen in gaming.

Completely worth it. For all of the short comings TellTale has had other developers could learn something from them when it comes to making us give a shit about a character.

Really enjoyed the second episode even though I did spot what was going to happen pretty early on. But the timed choices have been a real highlight - especially those feelings where right away, you know you've fucked up but can't do anything to change it. One of my games of the year so far. Hope the writing continues to be brilliant.

On steam it's $20 on xbox it's $5. Is that because steam is having you go ahead and pay for all the episodes at once whereas on xbox you pay seperate.

Well, I don't know about the Xbox, since I'm a PS3 guy myself, but we have an option to buy a "season pass", which is just a way to pay for the entire series ahead of time. That's most likely what Steam has going on.

Yeah on Steam you can buy the entire series and just download each one as it comes out, on XBL you have to buy each one seperate. Really not much difference, it's just more convienent on Steam.

The lack of score's kind of a bummer :P But, yes, I'm very tempted to pick this up (metaphorically) on PS3 at some point. My only worry is that my mate's told me it's brilliant, but kind-of short, and I don't want to be shelling out £4-£5 every month for something that, in the end, isn't going to total the amount of time and content a full-blown non-episodic game would

You'll want to play the episode again as the choices you make will drastically change the story.
  • Gennadios - April 27, 2012 1:24 a.m.

My first playthrough clocked in at around 2.15 hours. Closer to 3 if you cake into account me switching back and forth through several sections just to see what kind of outcomes I like best. Are you really that worried about shelling out 5 pounds for a 2 hour game when the majority of AAA titles feature 6 - 8 hours of gameplay for 60?
  • WINNER: Dark Souls - April 30, 2012 4:01 a.m.

    Plus it's only $5..C'mon, man.
  • Sinsational - May 2, 2012 7:11 a.m.

Think about all of the games out there that you might have payed for, (any shooters like CoD come to mind), that have you shell out $60 for a 6 hourish campaign. There's only 5 episodes of The Walking Dead. That's only twenty bucks for 15+ hours of gameplay. Not to mention if you want to go back play differently by choosing what to say, who to save, how to go about certain situations. It has a lasting replayibility.

Ah, finally, thankyou! Someone that can give me some perspective! I didn't know how many episodes there were going to be overall, so thanks for filling me in on that.
  • fault3 - April 25, 2012 12:34 p.m.

so you write about taking care of a girl and taking her under your wing.. but underneath it you show the same girl now being a zombie :D i guess that is the end of that episode :D
