Scalia is the closest thing to Judge Judy we have in the Supreme Court. He's logical, pragmatic, and fiercely dedicated to personal freedom.

I want to see the Vulcan defense used in the future.

This is a great article that summed up all the legal mumbo jumbo in a concise article for easy consumption. Well done Joe, if there is some kind of video game article award you should get if for 2010!

Totally used that second sign from that guy dressed as Mario as a Facebook status.

Great writeup. I've read about this case on a few other sites, but this feature had the best combination of humor and facts. And while things are looking good for the EMA here, the Supreme Court was also tough on them- asking numerous difficult questions. But by my count, we're winning this one right now.

"The 3-prong test for *determing* which games the California Act would ban" Step Two: "That is *patently* offensive top the community?" ;) Great article otherwise!

1000 points to Sotomayor for actually getting this situation. 400 points for Scalia (500 for being funny, -100 for kind of being a dick)
