  The soundtrack definitely has some issues, but the Metal Sonic music and final stage/final boss tracks are fantastic; it's pretty odd to hear them rendered in such old school stylings when the graphics are entirely modern and new, but when the fans get their hands on them I think we're going to hear some seriously good remixes. The final boss was utterly evil, but it's definitely one of my favourites from the series; defeating him as Super Sonic was a particular challenge, and it made good use of the team-up moves. Also: no mention of the special stages? They weren't as distinctive in layout as the Advance/Rush special stages, but they were still great fun.
