Hey, that's my Okami pumpkin (#24). Thanks for featuring it on your list and thanks everyone for your comments on it =). I didn't know that others liked my work and that it would be considered good enough to be put on a top pumpkin list. I also did a Haunter pumpkin, but it's not very good: http://opalosprey.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d4geqk6
Thanks again =)

I carved the Master Chief one back in 2007, I think it's #43 in the pictures. Took second place in the halo.bungie.org "Guilt O' Lantern" contest.
Totally awesome to see it here! :) Made my day.

I wish I could make my pumkins look that cool. Those guys who carved them should consider doing that for money this time of year. You can't tell me that there are not people who would have payed $100+ for some of those pumkins.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
(Not really one word, but close enough. I'm sure there are better examples.)

Q is one of best and most interesting SF characters ever, yet he's never been in any other game since SF3, while boring crap like Ryu makes it to every edition.... Logic....

MISSILE WAS NOT KILLED BY A SHOTGUN.
"Near-sighted Jeego" killed Lynne in the introduction with one. "One-Step-Ahead Tengo" killed Missile in Lynne's apartment with a SNIPER RIFLE.
Also, was Princess Zelda from Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks excluded because it was just here still-living spirit, and not a dead ghost? I thought she got more "playability" time that Boo Mario...

I sort of agree with MidianGTX in that I'm not Suda51's biggest fan. I cringed when I heard about Shadow of the Damned (LOL! Boner!) and cringed more when I heard about this.
More often than not I applaud GamesRadar and its staff as they usually call some quality games but I do wonder why Suda51 is hailed as this inventive gaming genius when every game I've seen credited to him is massively derivative.
Don't get me wrong, I like cheerleaders. I like zombies. I like chainsaws and panty shots. But is this really going to be all that different to Bayonetta/Devil May Cry/God of War/Generic Slash em Up?

sure Red Dead Redemption and Mass Effect 2 were better games but i had more fun playing No More Heroes and Killer 7

Wolfie - I think you may be confusing referential design with derivation. There is a difference between referencing (which the NMH games do in spades) and simply reiterating something (see - Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, etc) with no context or commentary...think of the difference between parody and "Hey, remember 300? This is just like that! Funny, huh?"
Suda 51s games also have a very distinct feel that I have not found in other games, and I enjoy them QUITE a bit. Also, if you look at his games, while they may seem merely sophomoric on the surface, they in fact portray women as quite powerful - Sylvia Christel, Jeane...even Shadows of the Damned's Paula isn't the simple maiden-in-distress she seems to be.
His games, the actual GAME parts, are not "massively derivative." They might be clunky at times, but I defy you to show me the games that Killer 7 and NMH 1 and 2 were derived from. In fact, they feel (again, in my opinion) quite unique. If you're going to make accusations, please back them up at least. Not trying to be antagonistic, but please don't make empty claims.
Now, taking it as its own game...you say you like all of the things featured in Lollipop Chainsaw so far, but you immediately and without real reason flip to pondering how it's probably a ripoff? Unless you have played the game and tested out the game mechanics, what possible basis do you have for this?
