Trials should have taken it. Fez was interesting for about 5min and then you realize all you do is spin the world around until the answer is obvious. Trials' user tracks are amazing already too and so much easier to get than the last version! Yes I love Trials....

It's probably due to it having come out last year, but for 360 gamers I'd hope I wasn't the only one who regarded The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition as their Game of the Month. Since between Mass Effect 3 and Max Payne 3 there seem to be very few major releases, it was refreshing to get an RPG which provided such a challenge and such innovation alongside a compelling (if convoluted) lengthy storyline.

Funny thing is, I actually liked Mass Effect 2, I think I gave it 9.2 on my personal rankings list (9+ stands for superb or excellent, whichever). I really enjoyed it all the way through. Yet somehow I don't even want to play ME3, the game is barely scratching my curiosity. I'll probably wisen up and play it someday, but for now I couldn't care less. Kid Icarus, on the other hand, looks pretty fun to play. I'd try it but I don't have a 3DS (yet) so there. But I'm surprised Journey wasn't GOTM or Runner-up. It was probably the most widely appreciated game in every critic/review I read. It's actually pretty damn close to ME3 in GameRankings and Metacritic.

Its 50/50 for me between Mass Effect 3 and Uprising, they're are both awesome games in their own level that cant be ignored, especially Uprising coming from Sakurai and being deep. Their both #1 for this month, for Runner-up, its a tie between Street Fighter X Tekken and Journey, I dont even own a PS3 and i chose it.

I've got to disagree with Arkham city being the clear winner. In my opinion it doesn't really improve that much from Arkham Asylum, feels as open and expansive as a Rockstar title? Give over, you can get from one corner of the map to the other in about 2 minutes if that! Combat is virtually identical, the abilities added are minimal and the actually story length (if you concentrate solely on it) isn't that much longer than Arkham Asylum! I couldn't get into the story as much as in Asylum either, i really like the whole introspective look into Batman's mind that was done in that. The scarecrow parts in particular being fantastic. On the positive side the Catwoman parts were well done and i found she was fun to play as, the side missions were very good (apart from the mad hatter's poor scarecrow impression) and some of the riddler trophies really made you think. I think i was just too sucked into the hype and expecting a huge world akin to GTA 4 when what i got was something about the size of the first island from GTA 3. Boss fights were still very simple even on the hardest setting and even getting the medals in Riddler's Revenge seemed a breeze this time. A good game no doubt, and the best comic book game series ever made but for me Dark Souls is the better actual game. In Dark Souls you are scared of what is coming round every corner, boss fights are a cinematic heart pounding experience. The world is really well made out with each area having it's own very distinct look and feel and the customisation and multiple ways of beating each area and it's enemies is something that Batman can't compete with. The multiplayer aspect of it as well makes you feel as though you've got somebody helping push you on through the seemingly impossible areas. You mention that Arkham City is atmospheric, well the fight with Sif in Dark Souls is more atmospheric than anything seen in Batman Arkham City. Dark Souls is a game i can see myself coming back to time and again whereas Arkham City is a place that was fun to visit once or twice but once all the villains have been put to rights the motivation to go back there wains. Batman is a fun little romp, Dark Souls is a challenge that only gets harder the more you play it. The sense of accomplishment when i finally beat some of the bosses was something that no other game has come close to replicating in a long time. I honestly don't know how you can say Batman is a far and away clear winner in this race, when i read the title i thought it was going to be the reverse. like you said yourself Dark Souls is unlike anything else out there, Batman is not.

I have both games and they are about the same IMO. both have great (and not so great) things going for them. It funny that both game series have the first two games fighting a losing war and the third game more of fighting for survival. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

IF YOU'RE A TROLL, DON'T READ THIS. So, basically, what you're saying is that people can't have differing opinions, and that they should take sales as quality? If that's the case, then all the petz games are the best thing in the world. And I am so freaking tired of people turning to Metacritic as the know all end all of reviews. It really gets under my skin when people use that as EVIDENCE, even when it's opinions. Having an opinion different than yours doesn't make them an idiot, they just have a different opinion. Learn to act like a normal human being, and don't act like a raging fanboy who's dreams were crushed.
