  me and my mates were discussing the topic of the world ending in the pub last night. we decided that under the severely unlikely outcome that we as a group were part of the very few survivors left that the world would be in trouble. mostly because the other survivors would be the sort of crowd you find in this particular pub on a Thursday night. essentially the cast of survivors in this apocalypse would include ten 18 year old males who are a mixture of students apprentices, a shop assistant, a cleaner and an ex alcoholic who is now considered a "social drinker". other survivors would be the bar staff, two kitchen staff and a wide range of what i like to call career drinkers. half of these career drinkers were there when i walked past the pub at 10 this morning. baring in mind that the best skill amongst these drinkers is the amazing proficiency to avoid getting a job but still have enough money to fuel there alcoholism. with this in mind what could possibly be humanities final remnants would begin a violent battle for control over the bar. the bar staff would be brutally killed. the kitchen staff would blockade themselves in the kitchen. after the battle and the victor had drank him or herself into a stupor me and my friends(possibly missing the alcoholic) would crawl from under the tables and be tasked with rebuilding. luckily one of the students is studying construction management. but then what use would 9 or 10 males be to rebuild and repopulate the earth or even our home town. the only suggestion we could come up with, (this was actually suggested and I apologise in advance for the stupidity) was that if the most feminine of our group was to somehow pull off a Jurassic park and mutate into a female. there was a lot of other things said during this conversation that I won't repeat purely because they disturbed me beyond help. All I can say is that if the world does pretty much end, I hope I don't survive.

  Well, I'm getting more and more optimistic about the game. The combat looks fun, the visuals aren't too bad, and they even have the soundtrack to a T. But I still can't shake my hatred over the idea of an 'alternate universe' Dante. And I'm beginning to hate him more and more. If they'd just said "Hey, look at our new game!" instead of "Hey, Look, we're making a new DMC!" then it could've been perfect, but, as it is, I'm still not 100%

  quite frankly these views on the new dmc are really grating on me. Ninja Theory are a fantastic studio which they have already proved, imo it couldnt be put into better hands. However the cods of this world an any other big hitter will unfortunately make games like enslaved not noticed :( Anyhow, he really doesn't look like an emo, his voice in it was to be frank as good as it could be to suit the character i feel, its not the voice of a douche its actually a decent voice and from what you seen of him in that bit of gameplay he seems like a reasonable guy. As for this original danta bum love, its obscene, get over yourself guys, he was cool in the first one not necessarily likable but cool, in the second it proved that dante doesnt make the game good as thats been slated as the worst one(its the only one i havent played, but i really dont see it being that bad) as for the third rather alot of people liked Virgil because he was different to play as, the 4th one i personally felt nero p*ssed all over dante, he was very likeable, looked far cooler imo and dante proved that he was actually a c*ck so im glad he isnt in this one and that there is a new dante that does seem really likeable. as for looks cmon he looks human in the regard that you have more chance of seeing someone like that in the street then old dante, and for me thats a good thing. The combat looks really good i feel, better then what they initially shown an the free run esque parts do look like they could be a really good part of the game. To shun this new dmc purely because you dont like the look of the main character but do like the dmc series as a whole is pathetic, essentially it will be your fault should the game not get the sales it appears to deserve, and it will be people like you that shut down these lesser(but some times better) studios because they dont get the sales they need to survive. Anyhow im all for this new dmc and i told just that to Tameem Antoniades when i met him. P.S. i did actually twitter to him about dmc but i did say i love his games and shook his hand in congratulations when i met him the previous day :)
