      Pretty much me exactly. I'm a Graphic Designer, and even though I don't HAVE to use a Mac, it's pretty much industry standard. I always really appreciate it when developers make a version that I can play. I'll totally look into this once I get my fill of Borderlands 2.

      So not quite as hyped as SWTOR and but slightly better than Rift. Not bad.. but it's not like this is a bombshell for MMORPG's. This is about normal. Well, 1million units sold is typically average for most AAA Games.

      Can't say I'm surprised. I never get hyped over MMO's, in fact I'm fairly cynical when new MMO's are released so I can honestly say im surprised with how well Guild Wars 2 is turning out. As for how Star Wars had a decent start SW was also a subscription MMO, once people pay for Guild Wars 2 that's it so it's not like people will play for the 30 days and then think "well, I have to pay $15 to play at all for the next month"

      They scale and loot drops are instanced for each player. Most small-scale encounters don't involve special loot for completing the event, instead opting for currencies (gold, experience, karma). Large events spawn a chest which has instanced loot for each player who participated in the event. Participation is also factored into the rewards you get.
