Hasn't Birdo been confirmed to be male? I would like to see some of the stages inspired by Super Mario Land for the Gameboy. Like the submarine and airplane levels. Just one of each in the game, just to break it up a little. I don't know. Maybe that's a bad idea.

Birdo is a confirmed female. There's a long story to it, which I don't remember all of the details.

If they do even half of this, I will buy a 3DS. Hell, I probably still will, but this will make me do it sooner.

Kuribo's shoe and the cape. That is all.

I fully agree with #6. I never understood the love for NSMB wii/DS. They were both watered down versions of the original Super Mario Bros. How have so many decades passed and they haven't improved on 3 or World?? Give me crazy power ups, catchy music and no bullshit multiplayer Nintendo!!

    NSMB on DS stank.

Apparently it was to revise mario's old 2D roots into a new 2.5 D style and modern, innovating technically, thats why it seemed "Watered Down" it was supposed to be its own instead of following 3, hopefully this Super Mario 4 will follow 3.
