Finally getting to drive on the correct side of the road!! :D I always drive on the wrong side in the other sandbox open world games!! It looks fun this one!

Anyone here play Wheelman? The Vinn Diesel action driving game? The car combat mechanics sound inspired by it... executing "vehicular melee" moves and jacking cars in midair... I'm not sure if Wheelman came out before Just Cause 2, but I can't think of any other game that has such action driving mechanics... that anybody cares about, anyway. :P

How does a gamer who isn't in the business get into e3?

So it's going to be like the first True Crime, but better? Sign me up. I wonder if it will have branching story like the first.

Somehow I doubt it will have a branching storyline. But as long as it's a good undercover cop story, I don't mind. Then again, they seem to have an emphasis in different actions that pleases either the cops or the triads. So maybe it will at least branch for either two at the end?

Just Cause 2 was a terrible game. Why do people keep looking at it through their rosey hindsights, it was a terrible game. It was just an unfleshed our tool set in a sandbox without sand.

Maybe, *gasp*, they have opinions of their own and liked the game more than you! But that's impossible, right? If you think it was a terrible game, then that proves it, and everyone should think the same, right?

Just Cause 2 was an incredibly fun game. The only real issue was that the story was garbage and the voice acting was shit.

Completely agree with this article, I've been keeping an eye out for this game for a while, and every time it pops out, it looks more and more awesome. There is still one thing that has me worried: Bugs and Glitches. I don't honestly know if the people working on this game are the same that worked on the past True crime games, but if they are related... Well, those two game's most crippling downsides were the horrible bugs and glitches, specially the ones found in TC2 However, if this game delivers all of the above promises without that many technical problems, we could have a real sleeper (hur hur) hit.

From what I gather, the devs of this game are in no way related to Luxoflux. I read that most of their talent was pulled from other studios (including Volition, the Saints Row devs, so that's a good sign) and Luxoflux wasn't one of the studios listed. Anyway, I've been looking forward to this since it was announced as True Crime: Hong Kong, and I'm still anxiously awaiting it's release. Each bit of info just gets me more excited.

I played the demo of Sleeping Dogs that was being shown at the MCM expo at the weekend. I really enjoyed it. It's over the top, brutal, and a heck of a lot of fun. I it's almost like the lovechild of Just Cause 2 and Saints Row 3, mixed with a little John Woo for good measure.
