Futuristic vehicles revealed for the Xbox 360 racer

New screens of Xbox 360 driving sim Ridge Racer 6 have revealed that it won't be just cars that gamers can hammer around the next-gen tracks in, but futuristic hovercrafts as well.

Rather than limiting the action to the usual four-wheeled automobile challenge, developer Namco has included several concept vehicles such as a tripod super car, a fat-tyred drag racer and suped-up hovercrafts.

The sixth game in series will be the first Ridge Racer to be playable online and will feature over 130 different types of vehicle.

Ridge Racer 6 will be released for Xbox 360 on 24 February 2006
