Hasn't anyone who really plays games much upgraded their HDD on either system? By this point, those small early HDDs should be totally full.

Cool, thanks man. Slightly put my mind at ease. Also, accept my PSN request Towell! Need someone for F1 2011, Borderlands 2, Battlefield 3 etc.

Well my 500GB HDD won't have a problem with this and lets be honest an 8GB mandatory install is hell of a lot smaller of an inconvenience then a 22GB install that makes the game run better but isn't mandatory.

How convenient that I upgraded my PS3 so it now has a 320gb hard drive.

Oh christ. I think mine's only a 40GB hard drive. It WOULDN'T have been a problem at all. If it weren't for PS3 giving away free goddamn games. That said, Ratchet and Clack: Quest for Booty IS pretty wank...

@nelly24 - Sorry, mate, I have no idea as I haven't seen that version running. But I should imagine it'll do fine. I mean, 8GB is a lot of data. Coupling that with the Blu-Ray should share the load between the two storage devices nicely.

Justin, just one thing I want to know now. I have heard about the terrible pop up etc on the ps3 version, so will this mandatory install correct these problems? I hope to god it does!
