Tali from Mass Effect, her voice is what gets to me, the voice of an angel. Also Margaret from the Regular Show gets a shout-out bc of the confusing feelings I got from

Well, I was rocketing through puberty during the golden age of PS1 survival horror. I found something extra spicy about these Capcom belles. A lot of it had to do with their unique sense of style. Claire Redfield and Regina from Dino Crisis wore like one-pieces over tights. I know for a fact I ogled a RE3: Nemesis ad on the back cover of a Gamepro, Jill Valentine in a little blue tube top and black skirt.

Actually a movie character, but I haven't seen the movie yet but played the game so here goes. Unikitty. That My Little Pony knockoff from The Lego Movie. I didn't find her attractive per se... not until she put on the glasses and tie and started talking business. Literally, her line was "Business, business, business. Numbers... Is this working?". That strong and independent facade, barely belying a wholesome, innocent inner core... like Aerith in Bayonetta's clothing. It just pushed all the right buttons. I, I was... I was confused. I don't know who I am anymore.

To a lesser extent but on a similar note: Amaterasu.
  • aznxchunky - February 19, 2014 11:54 p.m.

Yukiko from Persona 4. RIght from the start I had decided to make her the GF of my main character, She was shy, oblivious, and quite pretty for a anime vg character. She was never over sexualized and was pretty modestly dressed in the game. I really enjoyed fleshing out her character arc and being able to help her overcome her fears and problems, although her cooking will need a lot of work.

Welcome back to the podcast greg, you've been gone for like 3 weeks or something, the time you were gone i finally got my License so i can technically be considered a Driving buddy :P QOTW: Im usually mature enough to not be swayed by video game women by appearance. I do however have a liking to tomboys, it took me more than 5 years since i first played it on arcades to realize that Makoto in Third Strike was a girl. Gaige in Borderlands 2 is a neat one as well, i like her rough style and robotics background. However the icing to my liking for tomboys is the overexaggerated personality of Princess Daisy in Mario Strikers Charged. You see being developed by Next Level Games, they give Mario characters personalities and Daisy is no push over. She even goes as far as to do the trademark smoke coming out of your ass when you touch it. GODDAMN.

"Henrage" is now an official Gamesradar term next to "Fanboy Coop" and "The Thing About" Great to see your liking Rusty's game, but GODDAMN Steel Diver Sub Wars is surprisingly good, my GOD, anyone with a 3DS needs to atleast try the free version which gives you 2 subs, and i think 2 single player modes with all multiplayer modes. I had to use my friends SD card but goddamn for me it was addicting as heck, and you have the option to pay full price of around $10 to get all 18 subs and the full single player game. Its an interesting F2P model just like as you explained with Nintendo's experimentation with Rusty.

QOTW: Bastila from Knights of the Old Republic. I don't know what it was about her that drew my 13 year old self towards this fictional woman. Sure the first time you see her in game she is in a metal slave bikini outift, but that isn't what made her so damn interesting. She is smart, in fact she knows more about your character than nearly anyone else in the game. Bastila was a determined, intelligent, and secretive person who I was drawn towards. I know usually looks and charm are what most people find to be 'sexy', but a woman that has more power and pull than anyone in the galaxy and still looks over her shoulder at you is pretty sexy in my wookiepedia notebook. Yeah she was pretty awesome......Zaalbar the Wookie was pretty hot too.

Come on people, lets be real. Realistic female characters in video games are few and far between. Its hard to be attracted when proportions are unrealistic and characters are completely helpless. That's why the clear answer to this question is the dashing Nathan Drake (swoon).

Since I just finished playing through Arkham Asylum I would probably have to say that I had an attraction to Poison Ivy. I attribute it to the fact that she is always wearing a shirt that is only two buttons away from exposing her breasts while the same can be said about her downstairs area, where the only thing that prevents her from exposing herself are panties fashioned from plants.
  • cubeenigma - February 17, 2014 11:37 a.m.

Unfortunately Poison from the Final Fight series. Man those shorts. That's hair. Those legs. And then to find out that they failed that she was a transgender... MY MIND WAS... confused to say the least. Just look at all the fan art of her now a days or even her Wikiarticle page. she'd make any boy confused

If you show me someone who wasn't a little hot and bothered by Dante in DMC, I'll show you a liar. And don't even get me started on Nariko from Heavenly Sword.... An Asian supermodel who also knows how to fight like Kratos? Um, yes. Seriously though, those abs on Dante! Hot damn!
  • antiAntag0nist - February 17, 2014 5:20 a.m.

Lightning form Final Fantasy XIII. I really like her character design from that game; her pink hair pretty great too.
  • IAmARobotWhoTurnsIntoATruckAnd - February 17, 2014 5 a.m.

I can't decide between Arcueid Brunestud from Tsukihime and Saber from Fate/Stay Night, so I guess I'll just go with the Sorceress from Dragon's Crown.
  • rainn'sgaydar - February 16, 2014 9:11 p.m.

My Saints Row 3 character was simply fabulous, but you guys can't see her so I suppose she can't count. My runner-up was Yukiko Amagi because beauty and brains are a deadly combination, but then Rise Kujikawa came along and was the lead singer for my band we hastily put together as a fundraiser for a hugely successful chain store in a small town in Japan. Ever since then, I've spent all my free time ignoring Yukiko and hanging out with Risette. So, Risette is my video game crush. Third place: Elena Fisher
  • GLuna46 - February 16, 2014 7:55 p.m.

for the question of the week: ive always had a lil crush for Alex from half life 2. not only is she smart and bit of a nerd shes cool and likable. plus she knows how to handle a gun ;D
  • Ironarm - February 16, 2014 6:06 p.m.

My Renegade FemShep. I adventured with her for three whole games, so I feel connected to her in a major way. I mean yeah, I guess I created her so she would be attractive, but I think it's more than that. I saved the entire Galaxy with her. She was a badass that did whatever it took to get the job done, even if it meant throwing a dude out of a window because he wouldn't give up the information I needed. I love a strong woman. My FemShep was the strongest one I ever saw.
  • Jackonomics2.0 - February 16, 2014 11:51 a.m.

Lady Grey in Fable was a bitch, but I like bitches like that. You wouldn't believe the joy when there was a mission to resurrect the bitch in fable 2 and then have her fall in love with you, equaling to easy marriage. It was at the cost of letting the guy who even resurrected her in the first place not have her, but I don't care, SHE'S MINE NOW SUCKER.
  • TanookiMan - February 16, 2014 10:54 a.m.

Isn't John Paul Jones the bassist for Led Zeppelin? Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but I've always thought of him as a bassist, not a keyboardist.
