RadarPlays - The Legend of Zelda

Nintendo just announced a brand new Legend of Zelda for 3DS,  and any new Zelda info makes us more than a little nostalgic. So we dusted off our NES and plugged in the original Legend of Zelda to test our skills. GamesRadar editors Henry and Cooper were a tad rusty, but Lorenzo was able to keep us from looking too awful when we jumped right into the fabled Second Quest from the start of the game. How far can we get in under 20 minutes? Watch and find out...

Want to hang out with GamesRadar's editors while taking a look at retro games, new releases, and totally random experiences? RadarPlays is for you. Mondays we'll be checking out blasts from the past on RadarPlays Retro, Wednesdays we change things up to whatever we feel like playing with RadarPlays Shuffle, and Friday is packed with the strangest titles you’ve never (hopefully) heard of in RadarPlays Freaky. We'll also release RadarPlays for all the new releases, so be sure to check back!

This was one of the first games I bought on my Wii from the VC (I'm too young to have played the original release) and I still haven't beaten the thing. I think I got to the last dungeon, but I'll be damned if I ever try the Second Quest. It's too hard! =p

I spent the last half of that video shouting at you guys to "USE THE GODDAMN BOOMERANG"

Classic Zelda goodness. Nostalgia hitting me big time.
