"Bullet-time" aka Virtual Camera rotating around an event, was created in Games first by John Carmack, then used in movies and made popular by Wachowski's of The Matrix Franchise. First iteration of "bullet-time" came from various Anime', too many to list here. There were game MOD's from the Unreal Engine 1 that demonstrated slow motion bullet-time years before Remedy's first hit game. Just sayin'. Anyway thanks for the great article. :)

Maybe they'll reveal the XBOX 720 at E3 and call this douchery of XBOX One an entertainment machine rather than a gaming one. I'm dissapointed.

It's about a little girl with special powers, very original... I'm interested in the game as long as it doesn't make me watch the awful looking show.

So at the event according to my count they showed a total of 6 multiplatform games, 0 exclusive games, 1 TV show/game hybrid and teased another TV series and 15 unnamed exclusives? Wow...

Xbox One did not do itself any favors in the eyes of gamers today. However, Quantum Break is an exclusive as well as Forza. Both Turn 10 and Remedy develop for only Xbox in the console space (Remedy is developing an iOS game). Personally, I do not play racing games, and Alan Wake 2 would have been more exciting for me than the Quantum Break announcement.

this more i think about the reveal the more it sinks in just how incredibly lackluster, boring and wretched it was. it's like a black hole where creativity goes to die , a gathering of cancerous tissue, big TV producers, EA overlords and marketing twats.

I knew it. BOTH? oh boy....

Yeah... Because Defiance totally worked on both fronts with that approach *rolls eyes* Man, the trailer itself was underwhelming, but this news makes it even worse. Any vestige of interest I may have had about this new IP is completely evaporated now...

Oh my god the shittyness won't fucking stop! Here, play this tv show and then watch it while you play it by multitasking on our innovative kinect empowered Xbox ONE, yes ONE! And I bet the show will suck ENORMOUS BALLS.

Are you sure its a game? Looks more like a live action tv series

Man I love Sam Lake and Remedy but this trailer was awful. I have faith that the game will be great, but honestly, this was hard to watch. It was made worse by the fact that it was virtually the only surprising reveal.
