Proof that Lara Croft would be an amazing pole dancer

Two UK cosplayers and self-proclaimed Tomb Raider fanatics took first place in an amateur pole dancing contest recently with a gravity-defying routine that would make their videogame counterpart proud. Emy and Bex, university students in Bristol, drew inspiration for their first-place performance from Emy’s favorite female in gaming, Lara Croft.

“I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tomb Raider games. I have merchandise, DIY costumes, the Anniversary costume, posters, figures, all the games, etc. It was the early Tomb Raider games that got me into computers in the first place when I was little!” Emy relayed to Stella’s Tomb Raider Blog.

While pole-dancing is typically viewed as an activity strictly seen in strip clubs, a growing number of women have taken up the hobby as a form of exercise. After watching the moves by both Emy and Bex there’s no denying the amount of strength and athleticism necessary for this hobby. Thankfully, this isn’t the first time Lara Croft was used as inspiration for a jaw-dropping pole routine. Just check out Chelle’s first-place performance below:

Around 50% of the above responses are in some way aimed at complimenting or defending Cheryll, the other 50% are unanimously positive. When any of the guys write an article that split is 50% love 50% venom. Ergo women should write all GR articles and thus only positive responses would be had.

Well, I saw some excellent pole dancing and got to listen to Fluke. All in all, a pretty good morning!

Well the first two girls were hardly elegant...but nice effort, I guess. Chelle on the other hand...whoa...that body. She must have put hundreds of hours into that, however, she didn't know her limits, the last minute is a pure struggle, she's tired. Still, I had to collect my jaw from the floor as well. =3

@QWERTYCommander Now i know you know that her being a woman doesn't mean jack shit, need I remind everyone of a certain Bot who licked a PSP?

@flabslapper Well the fact that this article was written by a straight (I 'm assuming) female would probably be the reason why it isn't nerd pervert pandering bullshit.

This is fascinating and impressive and all that, but I'd just like to say I would have so much sex with Chelle. Like, seriously, it would be a bunch.

Have you ever thought to yourself "Man, I wish I was a pole??" No? Must just be me then.... P.S. Cheryll you always make T-dar even more entertaining(when you're on it)

on any other website I would have dismissed this as nerd pervert pandering bullshit The difference between every other website and GR is that these women are frickin' talented and strong, my jaw was in a constant state of drop watching these, great job!
