Pre-order Sonic Colors and get a humiliating hat

Ridiculous hat to come packaged with GameStop pre-orders

Pre-order Sonic Colors for the Nintendo Wii from GameStop and you could be the owner of this humiliating hat. The object of shame is currently advertised on GameStop’s North American site. According to CVG, Sega UK declined to comment when asked about whether the pre-order deal would be available for European audiences.

According to GameStop, pre-order copies of Sonic Colors are scheduled to ship on Dec 31, 2010, but the actual release date will likely arrive earlier so Sega doesn’t miss out on sales opportunities during the holiday shopping season. The title is scheduled to release in ‘Q4’ and ‘this holiday season’ in other documents we’ve recently received from Sega in regards to the title’s release date.

tried playing the video, the N3 add played fine but no video from the sonic colors part, nice music though...

GamesRadarTylerNagata Could be a good idea for a competition. Who ever can take a picture of themselves wearing the sonic hat in the most inappropriate situation wins.... Something less humiliating.

I already saw someone on the N-Judah train headed home a couple of months ago, wearing that hat. Too bad I can't upload the picture, I have an old phone. He must have got it from some other means, seeing as Sonic Colors wasn't announced yet in January.

I am going to wear that hat every time I play the game. But that means I'll have to have faith that this game will be good so I can get the hat with a pre-order. I mean it looks promising, but Unleashed (night-time) sucked, Black Knight sucked, Secret Rings sucked, Battle Adventure 1 and 2 sucked. So who knows? But I do want that hat.

1. Pre-order to get hat. 2. Wait for game to be released. 3. Purchase game, obtain hat. 4. Keep receipt. 5. Wait 2 days, do not open game. 6. Return to store. 7. Return game exclaiming a confusion regarding game. 8. Obtain money/credit back. 9. Humiliate yourself in your brand new hat.

Out of context, that is an awesome hat. Once the significance sets in, it is much less appealing. But DAMN, that is an awesome hat. It's like that Scribblenauts hat, but, like, Sonic!
