Playing well with others
We take a closer look at the people (and creatures) you'll meet in the single player adventure
In the initial stages, most of the threats you face are from natural dangers, but even then mutant creatures do pop up. Some, like the mutant dog, are relatively easy to dispatch while others provide a bit more of a challenge. The controller is a particularly nasty thing when you first encounter him, thanks to an attack that combines telekinesis and telepathy. The mental attack is used to draw players in, before savagely beating them with his claws. Another vicious creature is the bloodsucker. Looking vaguely humanoid, the bloodsucker can easily blend into its surroundings. A patient creature, this one waits until your back is turned and then attacks.
