Limbo Special Edition might make you buy Limbo all over again

PlayDead Games announced today they are releasing a special edition bundle for their million-selling indie hit, Limbo.

This isn't the type of special edition we're used to seeing on PC lately though (which generally just means the soundtrack is included.) This is a physical bundle complete with a rather nice-looking DVD case, DRM-less PC and Mac versions of the game, art cards, soundtrack, and 3D glasses.

However, the main feature of this bundle is the ability to put Limbo on your bookshelf or in your game collection so that you can look at it, sigh, and say, "I miss that game. What a good game." Which, contrary to actually playing Limbo, will doubtlessly brighten your mood instantly.

You can purchase the bundle here for $24.99.

Is that a sticker of the Limbo kid's head?

I enjoyed it the first time through but much like Out of this World, Flashback and Heart of Darkness I would have no desire to play through again.

Oh yeah, I love the idea of paying $10-$15 for a three hour game...why not add in some useless extras and jack up the price? Brilliant!

You DO know that you have a completely free will, and therefore can choose whether or not you want to buy this game, right? Just putting that out there.

I may buy this. I loved the game, and I would be happy to give them more money. Besides, the game can be longer than 3 hours depending on how fast you go through it. It lasted a good 8 hours or so for me.

    A bit late honestly.
