For all you guys here making nostalgia about old, awesome GamesRadar articles, may I remind you of a great man named Paul Ryan? Do a search of his name in the search box here on the site and you can dig up some of his amazing work that he did here at Gdar, including an immaculate piece on videogame enemies that are also round.

Also, I should mention that he's writing for PCGamer now, so it's not as if he's disappeared, he's done some tremendous work there, you should check it out.

Come on, Paul, there's no need to comment under an alias, mate ;)

YES I loved this article when it was first posted, and thumbs up for posting links to the Tetris and bionic arm ones too! I'd almost forgot about them but they have got to be like my favourite articles on the site. IIRC there was also another similar one about Professor Layton, I think Cundy did it and it was called something like "Let's face it, Professor Layton is a bit of a[n unsavory gentleman*]" which I also remember being quite funny. I can't find the thing anywhere in these internet pipes though. But the pages of GamesRadar need to be graced once more by these hilarious Paint-illustrated antics. (*yes I did substitute a word with a less explicit alternative...U MAD?)

I've found it, but the page brings up a 404. It was actually mentioned in an article 18 months ago called 'What are your favorite GamesRadar features of all time?' and yet they've seen fit to delete it. http://www.gamesradar.com/what-are-your-favorite-gamesradar-features-of-all-time/ Read the comments, look at the articles in question, and then ask yourself, 'If this article is called 'What are your favorite GamesRadar features of all time?', why do none of them resemble the sort of content GamesRadar publishes now?'

How to kill Duke Nukem? Give him only two guns and give him pissy regenerating health.

Now difficult to get a job with good salary, but with this company you can make $ 45 per hour. All information on this site...Mel7.CoM

How to kill Duke Nukem? 1. Replace his Roids with estrogen pills. 2. Replace all of his beer with lemonade. 3. You take away all of his guns and weapons and replace them with water guns and throw pillows so that his world is none violent. 4. Replace all of his porn with child friendly content. 5. Replace all of the hot chicks with fat chicks. 6. The first five steps cause Duke to fall into a deep depression, he lets himself go, and then six months down the road he kills himself.

I remember that article (as many of you do, I'm sure, it's not even 3 years old). Good one! I also loved the one advertised at the end (the Tetris-related one).

Thermal Goggles =/= Night Vision (that image was a mixture of night and thermal vision goggles). Well, I suppose it's night vision in the sense it would be useful at night (but unlike night vision which essentially multiplies the amount of light you see, which would render it useless during daytime, Thermal vision can be used during the day, but is useless wherever everything is very hot even if it's dark), but still the image was clearly showing the effect of Night Vision (green) and Thermal (body heat) at the same time.

I thought the same, but maybe it was referencing the thermal/night-vision combo that you got with the Solid Eye in MGS4. Perhaps?

Was this before GR discovered Photoshop? I forgot about this article, but I'm glad to have another chance to read it.
