Ghost Recon Future Soldier Multiplayer Beta Impressions

The HERE! At least, that's what we were thinking while trying out the multiplayer beta for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Join Lorenzo and Lucas as they do their best to cope with the advanced military technologies of the future, resulting in pro-level displays of "Sitting on a grenade" and "Snagging a stealth kill post-back-massage." You'll get a glimpse at the two maps, three classes, and multitude of gun customization options from the beta, along with the knowledge that Lorenzo and Lucas should never, ever join the military.

I feel your pain, Lucas. I can't stand inverted controls either. OT: The problem with complaining about campers in this game is twofold. A: It's a cover-based shooter. That means every wall, every building, every log presents a potential hiding spot for your enemies. Therefore, it's completely moronic to run around the map without carefully surveying your surroundings and checking every corner. B: There are quite a few ways to detect campers. As soon as an engineer throws a sensor or puts up a UAV, every camper within range of the device is highlighted in red. The sensor even detects cloaked scouts. Any good team that's actually working as a group will have an engineer throw a sensor at every objective to make sure there's no enemies around before going in to capture it. Then there's hacking. If you taze an enemy and hack their data feed, their entire team is highlighted in red until they die. Basically, camping is a non-problem in this game if you go about it the right way.

Wasnt too impressed with the beta. Only a few days out, but some cheap sods have already found all the camp spots, and because of the marksmans auto-camoflauge, they will happily sit and wait for you by the objectives, or even camp your spawn base... Doesnt stand up to other MP shooters out there, not even by a long shot
