Focus Home Interactive has unfurled new
media for Cyanide Studio's Game of Thrones RPG, this time giving fans
a little history lesson on the Westeros town of Riverspring. Learn
why Riverspring needs a hero (and why you should even care) in this
gloomy cut-scene trailer:
Riverspring may look like
your run-of-the-mill sleepy medieval town, but this is one sleepy medieval town
with a past. In addition to being one of the many Westeros locales
featured in Cyanide's upcoming adventure, it is also the former home of red
priest Alester Sarwyck, one half of the game's main characters. As the trailer
explains, players will be drawn to Riverspring following the death of Alester's
father, Lord Sarwyck, who's passing has left the town without a leader.
Will Alester reclaim the
throne? Will Lord Sawyck's death be avenged? What's up with that shady bald guy
at 0:23? These mysteries and more will be revealed when Game of Thrones arrives
for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC this May.
