Five YouTube games you should play right now

Since YouTube enabled video uploaders to add annotations to their clips, we’ve been seeing more and more great fan-made “video” videogames surface on the site. These annotations can be used to identify cast members, highlight background details, and even provide links to relevant information. It’s this ability to link to other videos you’ve uploaded that’s led to some great bite-sized mini games that deserve your clicks. Check out some of our favorites.

A Heavy’s 2fort Adventure

This interactive machinima was created by a Team Fortress 2 fan who absolutely hates playing as the Heavy on 2fort, a capture the flag map where you must grab the opposing team’s briefcase of intelligence and get it back to your base. Team Fortress 2 fans will love directing the hapless Heavy as he does his best to make his way towards Team Red’s base. As expected, the Heavy experiences many hilarious and rather unfair deaths along the way.

YouTube Street Fighter

Street Fighter combined with stop motion animation makes for a powerful combo. You play as Guile and can select Zangief, Dhalsim or E. Honda as your opponent. When the buttons to your left start flashing, you can push one of them to perform various attacks. Unless you purposefully push nothing just to see what happens, it’s almost impossible to lose. But if seeing an action-figure Guile slap E. Honda with a Sonic Boom in someone’s bathroom doesn’t make you smile, we don’t know what’s wrong with you.

BBoy Joker

What would happen if vigilantes and villains could settle their differences through the power of dance? Find out by giving BBoy Joker a whirl. First, you’ll need to choose between the Heath Leger-like Joker or the Christian Bale-ish Batman. Then, you’ll have to observe your opponent’s break dancing moves and quickly match the sequence to totally serve your foe. The stop motion animation is top notch and fans of the Dark Knight films will love watching the Joker and Batman battle like never before.

The Team Fortress and Batman ones were spectacular. The animation in BBoy Jocker in particular was really impressive. Playing that was probably the hardest I've laughed in a while. This article is way too entertaining to only have 5 comments.
