Hmm... I've beat all the games in the Luminous Arc series, all the games in the Kingdom Heart series (re: chain of memories doesn't count because its the same as the GBA one, and I beat that) and that's about it. I don't buy a game just because it's the sequel, prequel, expansion, whatever of a game I already have, that promotes marketing bullshit and lets companies sell tons of the same stuff with facelifts (Halo: ODST, Pokemon). Both Luminous Arcs were good and the quality went up instead of down with the second one and Kingdom Hearts vastly improved the battle system of the first game in the 2nd one. That doesn't mean I'll sell out to any game with the words Kingdom Hearts or Luminous Arc on it. I refuse to promote the crap that marketing tries to pull on gamers of the world.

For me, the series that I've played religiously was Halo. I played the hell out of the first one and beat all three of the campaigns on Legendary. Also I played and beat all of the Call of Duty games (minus the shitty ones) on Veteran.

Oh and the Gears of War games.

I really wish I could answer "Zelda," but Phantom Hourglass is such a damned bad game that I can't bring myself to beat it. It's funny, because I'd beaten all the other games in the series by about a year ago... but that one game is just so fucking boring.

Anyway, I have beaten the entire Half-Life saga, as well as the Paper Mario series. But those series don't contain all that many games, so it's nothing to be proud of, really...

Oh, and I will beat Phantom Hourglass by the end of the year. It was one of the New Year's resolutions I made in January, hahaha.

I have never beaten a series completely. Simply becuase they all ether have been milked or becuase there are dozens of sequels.

I didn't read through all the comments, but I expected more people to say this.

I've beaten every Devil May Cry game in every mode. And yes, Hell and Hell mode in DMC 4 and Heaven and Hell mode in DMC 3 made me want to kill myself...

I've beaten all of the pokemon and Tales games(tales of phantasia, tales of symphonia, tales of vesperia, etc.) the Tales games have become my favorite series ever and, ever since I played pokemon Red on the gameboy color and hearing "Gotta Catch 'em All", I am not ashamed to say I have Caught 'em All.

Oh geez, I've gone through all the Halo's, Gears, Fable's, Zelda's, Platform Mario's (not including every years Party and sport titles), DOA, Neversoft Spiderman games, Super Smash Bros, Soulcalibur's(including Soul Edge), and main Pokemon games(so like not all those Mystery Dungeons and what not). Also beat all the Psone era Spyro, Crash, and Tony Hawk games. Very fun times!

Space Quest. The only time I've forced myself to play a couple of old school VGA or EGA graphic adventure games to completion. The second one Vohaul's Revenge being the most difficult to get into since it didn't have a remake.

I could list a bunch of almost complete series. But I won't.

halo... and no im not proud to know that i beat legendary in less than 5 hours... also i was the first person on my 100 person friends list to know there was going to be a halo 4 just because i watch the credits to see if developers put that extra few seconds hinting at something more from the game. i love it.

Metroid = Best series ever made. I've owned all the games at one time, but now I don't have the Return of Samus. It went missing, but I beat it beforehand.

Well, I played through pokémon Red, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, Saphire, Firered, Emerald, Pearl and Platinum. I would say that would be enough to call it the complete series (not counting double's and spin-offs)

And I played through some spin-offs.

Working on the zelda series, but that will be very tough.
