If you have a PS3 and don't buy this, would saying that you should be beaten be too harsh? If a PS3 bundle is released containing this game, I'm all over that shit!

And now this makes me glad that I changed my mind from getting a 360 to getting a PS3. (as soon as I get enough money of course) This is going to be one of the bigger payoffs of that choice. (hopefully)

  • VirAetas - May 6, 2010 6:36 a.m.

finally Trico! I remember a year ago when they played on the trailer on TalkRadar. I looked it up and I teared up a bit. Beautiful stuff from the mastermind behind the best games to hit the PS2.
  • CRUNKMUFFIN - May 6, 2010 1:43 a.m.

Very Jealous of PS3 owners on this one, It makes me want to buy a PS3
  • CH3BURASHKA - May 5, 2010 11:37 p.m.

If you have a PS3, you must get The Last Guardian. If you don't have a PS3, get one. I need to get a PS3.
  • Nikku7 - May 5, 2010 11:02 p.m.

This game is the main reason I bought a PS3. From the screens I've seen I would have to say that game will be incredible regardless. Ueda always seems to put his soul into making this series and I'm sure it will have a great story and game play, but the atmosphere of the game already has me sold. He always seems to be able to make it so that the player feels immersed into the grand adventure. I give a lot of credit to the way he uses camera angles, lighting, and his wind and cloud effects.
  • DarthKratos - May 5, 2010 8:23 p.m.

You know, everyone says that the creature is obviously going to die, but given the talent that Ueda has for interesting, emotional stories, I think it is more likely that the boy will die, with the creature nudging him, trying to wake him up. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how this game will compare with Majin and the Forgotten Kingdom. In my opinion this game will be more emotional, but in terms of gameplay, it could go either way.

Can not wait for this one... SotC was one of my top 3 games for the PS2. Also, that bird dog cat is gonna die for sure... *sniff*
  • Evilsafetyboy - May 5, 2010 5:16 p.m.

I already have this on pre-order and I am already sad...
  • Conman93 - May 5, 2010 3:41 p.m.

I think we all know that this will be brilliant. I hope its out this year!
  • LionheartAce - May 5, 2010 3:14 p.m.

I absolutely love Ueda's vision with his games. I like him because I can tell he loves what he does, not what it gets him.
  • Tommykrem - May 5, 2010 2:22 p.m.

jaws98: According to Ueda it has individual feathers, with individual physics.
  • sleepy92ismypsn - May 5, 2010 2:14 p.m.

i think im going to love this game. i just bought ico and started it yesterday and im going to order shadow of the collosus today. @jaws98 he also spelled tail "tale".
  • FinderKeeper - May 5, 2010 11:01 a.m.

*sniff* Just looking at the picture, I'm getting a little verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic: Infinity Ward is neither infinite nor a ward. Discuss.
  • Imgema - May 5, 2010 10:21 a.m.

Once again Ueda will prove that you don't need tons of dialogue, overcomplicated plots and 10 minute long cutscenes to make a game a very emotional experience. Games can still offer that without turning them into movies.
  • jaws98 - May 5, 2010 9:50 a.m.

Great article, but there are some spelling mistakes. Help is spelled hlep. Also I'm pretty sure Trico doesn't have individual weathers.
