Digimon World DS

As for the rest of the game, well, it's predictably familiar. Turn-based battles, talking heads, tons of leveling up your Digimon cadre... yeah, pretty sure we've done this before. But for (former) mega-franchises, it's more about extending the brand and introducing the characters to a new set of fans than it is delivering a brand new gameplay style. Thus, Digimon players of old should find plenty to do.

With Pokemon Pearl and Diamond not out until next year, this is the only big collect-a-thon RPG nuts can get behind for now. Are the Digimon poised to make a comeback or just fade away? We'll know on November 7th.
