Deadpool game out on June 25

Deadpool will hit the U.S. on June 25. The talkative mercenary's very own action game will be available on PC for $40 and PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 for $50.

Stabbing, shooting, and wisecracking our way through legions of goons with Marvel's fourth-wall breaking antihero sounds fun--but it may not be a good sign that Activision laid off much of its development team at High Moon Studios earlier this month.

Still, if you're willing to put your trust in good old comic violence, you can get some pre-requisite pre-order bonuses. GameStop early birds get extra costumes and two maps for the Deadpool challenge, and Amazon customers get $5 credit toward select Marvel comic books.

50$? Sounds kinda cool but wit the recent-ish lay offs and seemingly too soon release date, im really preying that this game will turn out well and not half baked and half ass'd cause Dead Pools by far my favorite Marvel character.

This guy always was my favorite super... (is he a hero or a villain?)

It's Deadpool and there's a PC version, so I'll be buying it for sure.

I'm just delighted that there's SOME indication that this game is still in development, I was getting a little worried.

It's going the same way as Splatterhouse, it'll be a brilliant game, but barely anyone will buy it because there's hardly any advertising

Trying to look on the bright side, maybe this game will be like Singularity. Activision sent that out to die and it's the only game they've published that I bought in the past four years. Was like arcade Bioshock! Just because it isn't going to get 80+ scores doesn't mean it isn't fun.

Maybe it's just me, but I only saw one trailer for this game: the announcement trailer. Memories of Survival Instinct are flooding back...

I never did have high hopes for this, but now I'm getting worried. I'll put plenty of trust in 'good old comic violence' and a lot more trust in Deadpool. It's Activision that has never earned my trust. It takes a lot for Deadpool to disappoint me, but it takes very little for Activision to disappoint me. In fact, I can't remember a time when Activision didn't disappoint. Sorry, 'Pool. Better luck next time. I'll go to a place that has good chimichangas that day just for you. I don't really like chimichangas though, I just like saying the word 'chimichangas,' so I'll probably just order an enchilada...

A reduced price from Activision? That's the kiss of quality death right there. Such a shame, was looking forward to this too.

So soon? this is very worrysome.

A reduced price game with no previews 2 months before launch. Bode well this does not.

Not to mention that it's published by Activision! :D
