Part one was ace, two was good and three was a lot of fun but is there room for a Back To The Future Part Four?
“The only way it would work would be if I played Doc,” states Marty McFly himself, Michael J Fox, who claims he’s in negotiations to star in a fourth film. “I'm 44-years-old now and I'm not interested in running around on skateboards!”
The original movies saw Fox supported by a team of actors oozing with chemistry, including Christopher Lloyd and Thomas F Wilson. Forrest Gump helmer Robert Zemeckis was at the helm and along with Bob Gale, also scribbled the screenplays. Even if the old team can be reassembled, can Fox see a valid way of adding to the celebrated trilogy?
“I think after 1, 2 and 3 we all kind of felt we had done it and I think if they did it again now they would do it with a younger cast and just do a different realisation of it, which would be fun.”
