Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace to star in Dead Man Down
The $30 million action thriller will begin filming next year

Niels Arden Oplev, the director of the original Swedish adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo , is set to get his latest project underway.
Dead Man Down , a blackmail revenge story, has a screenplay penned by J.H. Wyman, the writer of hit sci-fi television series Fringe .
Colin Farrell will star as a gangster, while Noomi Rapace, who played Lisbeth in Oplev’s adaptation of the first instalment of the Millennium trilogy, will play his mysterious seducer.
The film’s producer, Neal H. Moritz, who's currently working on the Total Recall reboot with Colin Farrell, had the following to say:
