Borderlands 2 - Krieg the Psycho Bandit developer demo

The sixth playable character in Borderlands 2, Krieg the Psycho Bandit, will be available for download on May 14--just a few days away. So, what sets him apart from the rest of the Vault Hunters? Well, for starters he's an in-your-face kinda guy, putting himself at risk to land some crazy melee attacks that hit for upwards of 2 million damage. Seriously. Check out our hands-on demo with Krieg below.

Can't wait to try him out in Borderlands 2 8D

Ummmm, anybody else notice that he's fighting enemies scaled to level 50 characters? Did they find that he was so underpowered against level 61 enemies that they had to scale down the challenge? Seems like they just auto-leveled him, put him in Lynchwood in TVHM (rather than UVHM). In any case, it seems his melee side can be specced out to be pretty strong (I noticed it could be boosted to 250% without a CM), though it comes with the risk of self-harm which is a problem (at 5/5 it's 12%, at 11/10 it would be 26.4% I think?). His Buzzsaw Rampage boosts melee a further 500%. It seems they cheated or something with the Action Skill, since the cooldown is 120 seconds and it instantly regenerates right after using it. Unless there is some skill that allows it to be used in rapid succession, I'm calling shenanigans.

this is common in dev walkthroughs, when he needs to concentrate on the interview so the playing should be an afterthought. in UVHM, you need to be all in if you want to just survive. not many people can answer questions and put a good show simultaneously.

Seeing as it's the development version, obviously the character was auto-leveled (you can tell by all the low level badass challenges being awarded) for the demo. Sounds like this developer and I have the same play style, I very much look forward to this class! (I have missed Brick and his punch rampages )

Sweet. This guy seems legit, unlike the Mechro, which honestly kind of bored me. All you had to do was hit 'F' and shoot stuff if you feel like it.

Oh, yes. and the cheapest auto-leveling exploit: respec DT so his kills add to the duration, defeat the warrior, let DT mow the constantly respawning rakks/crystalisks, put gaige in a safe place and go eat lunch or something. GF mode all the way.
