Assassin's Creed PS3 patch is coming

Nov 26, 2007

Ubisoft is working to fix the glitch-ridden PS3 version of Assassin's Creed with a patch update to come soon.

A Ubisoft spokesperson said that the patch will remedy "freeze issues" which have plagued the game since its release.

"We can confirm that we are actively working on a game update. This update will help improve the stability of the game and will be released as soon as possible," the firm said.

Crashing during load screens is one of the main faults experienced by gamers, which was originally thought to be (although not confirmed) caused by Sony's 2.0 firmware update. The 2.01 update was expected to sort out these issues, among others, but clearly there's more work to be done.

"In the meantime thank you for your ongoing feedback and patience," Ubisoft added.
