Proverbs are a big waste of time. They're meaningless words that stupid people use in the hope of sounding wise and prophetic. But you can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.

This feature actually started out as something different and turned into this video games crossed with proverbs thing along the way. I thought I'd call it '14 important life lessons we can learn from video games' because even the word 'proverb' is annoying. So I didn't want to put it in the headline. I guess it's true what they say... you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Anyway, this is it.

    Hehe, yeah the walkthrough one is pretty dead on.

    I know it is a personal problem and not a result of the industry or anything like that, but I have gotten so lazy anymore. If I am stuck for even just a few minutes, it seems I never have the willpower to not pop online and just get an idea of what to do next.

    Thank god for http://www.uhs-hints.com/ , which gives you step-by-step hints rather than telling you specifically what to do unless you ask it to.

    The Vanquish tutorial was, honestly, the biggest waste of time. I was forced to learn how to look up an down and side to side. It was so long, I'm sure it is the reason that game didn't have multiplayer.
