@ Cyberninja: You're right, I can't believe they mentioned those things about Okami. If you're stuck at the blockhead I was stuck at, there's a shortcut around him you know...

I am suprised there was no mention of Zoids Battle legends. I would love to have a hidef sequel

this list brings back so many memories. i always thought chaos legion deserved more attention (i didnt think the game got really good until almost after you beat it), and ive been pining for a guardian heroes sequel ever since the original. throw in a new panzer dragoon saga and im a happy man. great list overall

I still have a Thrill Kill lid sticker on my old Playstation. One character would tear the limbs off of the opponent and beat him to death with them. It also featured a solid 4 player fighting experience. I was so psyched for that game and was bummed when Activision aquired the publishing rights to the game. The game became Wu-Tang Shaolin Style which turned out to be a blast anyway. R.I.P. Big Baby Jesus.

@SandroTheMaster Yes, u are right about the sequel, but like they wrote in this article, some of these games never got a decent sequel. Deus Ex is just one of those...
  • SandroTheMaster - May 4, 2009 7:58 a.m.

@aequitas13 No One Lives Forever did make a sequel. And so did Thief (which even had TWO sequels). @Biiaaatch For someone who could actually appreciate Deus Ex, you have a peculiar name... anyway, Deus Ex did have a sequel... and the sequel is the reason it died... sigh. Alright, feel free to ignore it adamantly. @CNnegative1 Well, the Jedi Knight series was already an Star Wars FPS before Republic Commando, and I'm pretty sure even the latest Third-Person games of the franchise have the option of playing them FPS style, they're just better at third because of the emphasis on Light Saber duels.

Urban Chaos and Blast Corp where the two that stood out the most to me.
  • cart00n - May 4, 2009 12:45 a.m.

You forgot Beyond Good and Evil (I know Ubisoft says they're working on a sequel, but it's not here yet, is it?), and Voodoo Vince - there was a platformer with style and wit to spare.
  • CNnegative1 - May 3, 2009 11:37 p.m.

few games here i loved.. Armed and Dangerous - soldiers staring at the ground as a land shark came up to eat them Star Wars: Republic Commando - star wars you say? Fps you say? it was win Jetforce Gemini - played the hell out of it when i was a kid... was never bright enough to beat it though :'(

dude when i saw darkwatch, okami, and kinetica, i got sad. why did those games not have sequels????
  • Luigi49 - May 2, 2009 8:58 p.m.

i just beat shadow of the colossus and it was awsome. epic boss battle that require you to do more than botton mashing to beat them and it is long overdo for a sequal. PS Wander turn into a demon baby so who would be the main character, maybe the girl that came back to life in the end

  • bugmenot - May 2, 2009 2:02 p.m.

  • BoondockSaint54 - May 2, 2009 5:35 a.m.
