Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is undoubtedly one of the stand out PS3 games of the year, and one that we certainly can’t put down. Due to hit US stores in a matter of days, 17 November, with the UK release following on 7 December, Christmas may well come early for owners of Sony’s black box.
As those of you who have downloaded the demo from the PlayStation Store will already know, Uncharted is full off incredible visuals and set pieces and, thankfully, these don’t end when the demo does.
Over the next few pages we’ll show you some of the action from the later stages of this stunning game.
Climbing the castle
The chapter that follows the end of the demo begins with Drake having to clamber his way around the walls of an old castle, which is situated high up on a cliff top. This allows for some impressive leaping, made ever more dramatic by the excellent camera movement that captures the sense of scale, and ends with a leap through an old window. Eat your heartout Indy.

Hi I'm James or JJ if you like, I'll answer to both. I'm the Executive producer for GR video which means I've had at least a part in all the hot moving pictures you'll find on the site (even if that part was just saying, yes that's a good video). I also produce the Future Games Show and Golden Joystick Awards. Away from the office you'll either find me playing Fortnite, or walking my dog. I'm better at one than the other, I'll let you decide which.
