Comic Con 2011 is overflowing with new gameplay trailers, but this one for House of the Dead: OVERKILL Extended Cut is special. Though the video will remind you, there's plenty of gore and bad words so don't watch this at the office with the volume turned up to levels appropriate for House of the Dead. Even if you really want to.
Though we already have extensive coverage of this remake, it never hurts to add one more video of zombie strippers, zombies being cracked open with hammers, zombies being exploded, zombies using the restroom, and half-heartedly condescending warnings to go with them: %26ldquo;because of the shocking nature of the following scenes they are definitely not recommend for the squeamish or the easily offended.%26rdquo;
The game is still dripping with the grindhouse movie aesthetic that we liked in the Wii version. But now the graphics are HD, the game uses PlayStation Move, and they haven't cleaned up the language at all (which is good).
Let us know what you think of the trailer (funny or offensive?) and the game so far in the comments. House of the Dead OVERKILL Extended Cut is (appropriately) on track for a PS3 release in Oct 2011.
