Just Cause 3 from Avalanche Studios is brimming with content - there's plenty to see and do on the island nation of Medici, and now you can add "referencing memes from 2013" to that list. Doge Mode adds brightly colored, poorly-spelled, and grammatically-incorrect comic sans words to your chaos, just like the doge meme for which it's named.
If you want to turn up the silliness in Just Cause 3, here's how you unlock it: first, head to the town of Soliana in the southwest region of Massos. From there, find the small junkyard full of cars and a bus and walk around the scrap for a bit. As you casually stroll amongst the wreckage, you should see and hear a small puppy as it wanders toward you. Get close enough and it should follow you.
Now all you need to do is lead it across the road (remember to check both ways!) to the doghouse directly opposite the junkyard, and it will unlock Doge Mode. All you need to do from there is head into the options menu and turn it on.
Wow. Such Easter Egg. Many lol.
