With the Xbox One - available in stores now - making it easier than ever to switch between watching movies and playing games, we thought we'd celebrate the movie stars who are gamers themselves.
We all know that Xbox One pioneers Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson like videogames, but did you know that this lot do too?
“I play games. Hands up. I’m quite into ones that have a big fat story line. Halo is good because it’s shooting aliens.
“Those ultra-violent ones I can play for half-an-hour and then I feel dirty. Vice City, for example – I think, ‘Oh yes, all right, I’ve stolen 18 cars. I’ve had enough now.’
“I have to pick my time well. If my girlfriend sees the box then it’s all over. If I get some free time, when she goes away for the weekend, I’ll go and play some games.
“I can switch the phone off and not see anybody for a couple of hours. That is blissful. It’s just as well I don’t have much spare time or I would probably fritter it away playing computer games.”
Xbox One Game Daniel Would Probably Enjoy: Dead Rising 3 . It doesn't get much more ultra-violent than that!
"Anything Mortal Kombat. I have that down and I don't cheat. That game just works well with my brain. The way my brain fires signals works well with how that game works. And I'm just really good."
Xbox One Game Megan Would Probably Enjoy: Killer Instinct. Sure, it's not Mortal Kombat , but it's from roughly the same era, and it's about a million times more fun.
"You finish Call of Duty first person, okay? You unlock this little game and your whole purpose is just to kill these Nazi zombies. You have to board up the windows. And I’m not necessarily good at it. It’s just fun."
Xbox One Game Mila Would Probably Enjoy: Call Of Duty: Ghosts . Mainly because it's the latest installment of Mila's favorite franchise.
A source told Contact Music (opens in new tab) ... "Vanessa has hardly seen him. He talks more to his friends online while blasting away at aliens or whatever, than to her.
"Vanessa has even tried joining in but her boredom threshold is a lot shorter than Zac's. She's on the verge of saying, 'It's either me or the Xbox.'" ( source (opens in new tab) )
Xbox One Game Zac Would Probably Enjoy: Crimson Dragon - if he really does like spending hours blasting away at aliens, that is.
"I have no musical ability. I tried in my life. I tried to learn the trumpet, that wasn't so good. The good thing about 'Guitar Hero' is you can just (press the buttons and) go 'blue, green, green, green, blue, green, green..."
Xbox One Game Jodie Would Probably Enjoy: Xbox Fitness , a game that's even easier to control than Guitar Hero - the Kinect reads your movements, making the experience controller-free!
