Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 scoops seven Razzie Awards

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 won big at the 33rd Annual Razzie Awards, taking home seven awards from 11 nominations, including Worst Picture 2012.

Handed out on the eve of the Oscars as an antidote to the biggest award ceremony in film, the Razzies lambasts the year’s worst movies.

Beating out competition from the likes of Battleship , That’s My Boy and A Thousand Words for the Worst Picture prize, Breaking Dawn 2 also picked up awards for Worst Actress (Kristen Stewart), Worst Supporting actor (Taylor Lautner), Worst Screen Couple (Lautner and Mackenzie Foy as Jacob and Renesmee), Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Remake/Rip-Off or Sequel and Worst Director (Bill Condon).

Among the other ‘winners’ were Adam Sandler, who took Worst Actor for That’s My Boy , and Rihanna, named Worst Supporting Actress for Battleship .

The Oscar 2013 results will be announced on as they happen throughout the night of 24 February 2013.
