There are over 80 new Lego sets in June 2026, but these three are by far the best
Lego Minas Tirith leads the charge as this month's most impressive model
It's one of those months where I wish I could win the lottery, because there are so many great new Lego sets in June 2026 to choose from. A Lord of the Rings icon, Shrek, the Sega Genesis... the list goes on. Actually, there are just over 80 models hitting shelves this month, and I'd love to have at least half of them on my shelf.
That's why I've narrowed that lineup down to just three. If you want the very best new Lego sets in June 2026, these are the ones I'd prioritize over everything else. Besides being stunning renditions of pop-culture icons that will draw every eye, they do something a little different so stand out from the crowd. If you ask me, they're also contenders for out list of the best Lego sets - especially Minas Tirith. The community's gone wild for this one, and with good reason. It's absolutely stunning, and I think the only other model that comes close this month is the Disneyland Main Steet model.
I've also listed every single new Lego set coming out in June 2026 further down the page. There are some real gems coming our way, so enjoy doing a bit of window shopping just to see what's out there.
Editor's choice
Gondor calls for aid, and Lego's hoping you'll answer. This absolutely massive model is a mighty 8,278 pieces, boasts impressive forced perspective to combine both minifigure scale and microscale, and it stands at more than 23.5in (59cm) tall when built. That means it's got ample space for secrets, because this isn't just a façade; it flips around to reveal the throne room, where you can arrange its host of 10 minifigures ranging from Aragorn to Denethor (plus tomatoes). If you order quickly, you can also get a free Grond battering ram set as a gift with purchase.
UK price: £579.99 at Lego
I was originally going to give this space to the Disneyland Main Street set, because I'm an enormous themepark fan and thought it was deeply impressive. But I can't ignore this delightful kit. It recreates the Sega Genesis console in perfect miniature at 479 pieces, and I'm hoping it marks the start of a new range where we get little yet affordable Lego versions of our favorite retro hardware.
UK price: £34.99 at Lego
I'm not always keen on big figures, because Lego can struggle with characters that aren't droids - they sit in an uncanny valley. However, this Shrek set is simply excellent. It really captures both the look and personality of ogre and Donkey, all while placing them on a diorama base with lots of nods to the film series. Not bad for just over 1,400 pieces.
UK price: £109.99 at Lego
New Lego sets June 2026
Hoping to get a full and comprehensive breakdown of every new Lego set dropping in June? Your wish is my command. I've rounded up all of the kits arriving this month, ordered alphabetically by theme.
Architecture
Lego continues its run of vivid, 2.5D cityscapes with the Big Apple... complete with a giant apple backdrop and monochrome design that make it all look like a weird Apple ad.
Bluey
If your kid wants bigger Bluey figures to play with than the normal minifigs or you'd like something to put on display, this is just what the doctor ordered. There are plenty of accessories from the cartoon as well (like the magic xylophone!) to pose them with.
This simple playset recreates Bluey's school and is made to help teach young kids how to build Lego kits.
This one says exactly what it is on the tin; it's based directly on the Pizza Girls episode where Muffin joins Bluey's game of delivering mud pizza in the garden.
Here come the Grannies! Bluey and Bingo's crotchety old personas are finally getting a set of their own this month.
Botanicals
The other Botanical sets for June 2026 are beautiful, but none are so interesting as this one - which is a woodland scene rather than the usual "flower and stem" approach you can put into a vase.
The simplest sets are often the best, and these beautiful lilies are gorgeous despite their simplicity. They'd make for a great finishing touch to the coffee table or a shelf.
More classic flowers are arriving in June, this time providing us with straightforward but striking pink and white Cosmos plants. Just remember that this needs a vase.
BrickHeadz
These might be my favorite BrickHeadz kits for a long while; they're absolutely crammed with personality.
Everyone's mad here! This is another very creative BrickHeadz set that really leaps off the shelf thanks to an eye-catchingly colorful design.
This collection brings Woody, Buzz, and Jessie together with a couple of adorable aliens.
We've finally got Megatron in Lego form! Shame it's a BrickHeadz kit and not a full one, though.
City
Many City kits that arrived in the UK this month aren't making the trip to the US until August, so they aren't listed here. I'll circle back around to them in August's roundup!
This City kit is embracing the great outdoors, with a map for planning your next BMX route.
Where would City be without good old-fashioned construction vehicles? Lego's adding a brand-new loader to the lineup this June.
Creator 3-in-1
It's rare that we get actual Lego pirate ships anymore, especially not ones so sumptuously detailed as this, so it's the standout Creator set for me this month.
Lego continues to do amazing work with its Creator animal range. This one can also be an eagle or a racoon.
This is stunning as is, but what's even cooler is that it can be made as a set of turtles or a kangaroo with joey.
Well, I can't argue with the name - it is majestic. It can also be a lioness or a pair of cubs.
If you don't have a toy train attached to your handbag like this, is it even fashion? I think not.
Here's another beautiful design that can also be a drinks tumbler or flower vase.
This striking 2.5D design can be remade as a picture-frame or a in-progress canvas.
Disney
Modelled after Disneyland's iconic entrance, this absolute monster of a kit arrives on June 4, 2026.
Having seen this in person behind closed doors at the London Toy Fair, I can confirm that it's freakin' adorable.
I love the Kakamora from Moana, so this immediately sets itself apart as one of my favorite Disney kits this month.
Pua is a firm fan favorite from Moana, and this kit does the little pig justice.
This feels like a part-way house between a normal playset and the Creative range.
A great little addition to any Moana fan's toybox, based on Moana 2.
This reminds me a lot of the Bluey sets; its a bitesize kit you can add to a bigger setup.
This kit continues Disney's line of smaller, playset-size castles from its most beloved movies.
Holy moly, Ariel and Eric seem to have blown their entire wedding budget on a pimped-out cruise ship.
Look at the size of that castle! It's one of the more impressive playsets in the Disney range this month.
OK, this is cute. This jewelry box moves Aladdin and Jasmine on the magic carpet when you turn the crank.
Not content with having a massive castle, Rapunzel's adding her tower to this month's new Lego sets as well.
Fortnite
This is even more impressive in-person than it is on a screen, and I was blown away by the intricacy of it when I saw the model in a press preview at London's Toy Fair.
The next 'big' character model has arrived, and I have to say, I prefer it to the creepy Peely Bone.
This is a visually arresting blend of diorama and playset, so it gets a big thumbs up from me.
Yeah, that's a tomato with a face. Much like the Durrr Burger kit from a while back, it's a fun, cheap novelty. The perfect stocking filler.
Friends
Much like the City range, a load of Friends kits arrived in the UK this month but won't hit the US until August. As such, they've not been listed here and will be included in our August roundup instead.
If you've got summer vacations on your mind, this laid-back new Friends set should speak to you; it's all about relaxing at the water park.
Harry Potter
The Book Nook range is legitimately one of my favorite new lines from Lego, and it continues to smash the assignment with this new, intricate model based on Dumbledore's office.
Lego's minifigure-scale Hogwarts Castle continues to grow with this enormous kit. It's overflowing with minifigs too, including ghosts like Moaning Myrtle and Filch the caretaker. Even Gilderoy Lockhart puts in an appearance.
Prefer more abstract display pieces? This should do the trick, and feels more at home in Lego's Art range.
Hagrid's adorable baby dragon from the first film is now available in Lego form, which is good news if you felt your shelf was lacking in 'cute'.
Dobby is a free elf, and now he's a Lego set! Um, again. We've had a Dobby figure before now, but I think this one is head and shoulders above it - it looks a lot less creepy!
Love Prisoner of Azkaban? This model recreates one of its most iconic scenes, complete with dementors and patronus.
If you prefer display pieces that feel as though they've been taken straight from a movie set, you should love this one based on plants you'd find in the Herbology greenhouse.
Diagon Alley's creepy alternative gets a Lego makeover with this set, and this one's based directly on Half-Blood Prince.
Icons
The great city of Gondor has earned its own mega-set, and it's magnificent. It's one of Lego's biggest kits, and probably amongst the most eye-catching.
Ideas
This is such a sweet little set. Besides having Snoopy and his pal on the doghouse, it can open out into a night sky camp scene.
Jurassic World
Lego's really been onto something with its dino bones displays, and adds to that winning streak with the new triceratops fossil.
Marvel
It's been a while since we had a full-size Helicarrier available, and this does the idea justice with a Winter Soldier spin.
Of all the new Brand New Day sets, this is the cheapest... but it still gets you a ton of cool stuff, making it an easy choice as a gift or a memento of the movie.
This is definitely the most impressive of Brand New Day's Lego range; it's overflowing with villains and features Hulk.
Spidey looks rather magnificent with this larger figure, made to tie in with Brand New Day. You get a minifigure to go with it, too.
Taken from the adorable Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, this kit is just too cute.
This kit continues the cute overload, and younger Marvel fans should have a lot to play with here thanks to multiple vehicles and minifigures.
Yeah, this one gets a nod of approval from me purely thanks to the pun title.
Minecraft
Lego continues its Minecraft characters range with this nuisance of a foe. Stop bothering me and let us build, skeleton!
It doesn't get much more impressive in Minecraft than the Ender Dragon, and now you can keep one on your shelf... complete with a crank to move the wings.
If you're a fan of diorama style 'scenes' to explore, you'll love this one. There's a lot going on here.
These poor Lego Minecraft villages - they don't have much luck, and are always coming under attack.
We don't usually get underwater-themed Minecraft sets, so this stands out from the crowd amongst the month's new Lego sets.
Feeling nostalgic? This kit takes us back to the beginning, when we first stepped out into the Minecraft world.
It's boss fight time! Better arm up with this set's host of weapon accessories.
Speed Champions
I must say, I'm appreciating these cheap nods to iconic movies. Following the Back to the Future kit, we now have this Fast and Furious one.
It looks as though this is a popular one; it's already on backorder.
Gosh, that is one gorgeous supercar. Speed Champions is out here proving yet again that you don't need a massive Technic set to create awesome Lego cars.
Shrek
If Shrek brings back a load of happy memories, I think you all-stars need to see this cute new display figure.
Star Wars
It's a Darth Vader-heavy month, led by this enormous up-scaled 'mini' figure. I think 'bigfigure' may be more accurate, though.
Rather than sticking to its helmet line, Lego is branching out with a new bust series. This is a genuinely excellent rendition of Vader, and I'd argue it's superior to the old helmet version that's since retired.
That isn't to say Lego's forgotten about its helmet range, of course. Here's a new addition based on the Mandalorian and Grogu movie.
Technic
Yes, it's a cool rendition of the Fast and Furious Dodge Charger. But the best bit? It has bouncy suspension.
If hyper-detailed F1 cars are more your speed, this beautiful Aston Martin kit wants to say hi.
More of a Bugatti fan? Don't worry, there's a kit for that too.
Phew, it's quite the Fast and Furious celebration month - here's another set.
Er, one of these Technic sets is not like the others.
Other
Hey, do we have any '90s kids in the house? You may be interested in this kit, because it recreates the beloved console in a smaller, display-friendly style. It can be shown off with the Genesis or Mega Drive logo, too.
A new Chinese Festivals set is on the scene, and it's based on the the traditional idiom "The carp leaps over the dragon gate."
This wonderfully intricate Chinese Festivals set recreates everyday life from the Song Dynasty era. It's bustling with life, and there's so much to see here.
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more

I've been writing about games in one form or another since 2012, but these days you'll find me managing GamesRadar+'s tabletop gaming and toy coverage (I spend my time here handling everything from board game reviews to the latest Lego news). I've also been obsessed with Warhammer since the 1990s, and love nothing more than running tabletop RPGs like D&D as a Dungeon Master.
